(Disclaimer: I'm not Jewish, nor do I want to make any religious statements. I just found this set of rules to be amusing, and I figured I should show this to you guys to see if you could try this out for an entire game if you like a good challenge.)
Someone made this amusing post at another forum. It's a set of rules on the way you play Super Mario Bros. called "Jew Gold Mario," making the game more challenging.
1. All coins must be acquired. (If you go to a secret area, be sure not to miss any!)
2. No enemies except Bowser may be killed (stomping turtles once is acceptable; you just can't throw their shells anywhere). [Sorry, but you can't kill the Goombas, fish, Hammer Bros., Pirahna Plants, Lakitu, Bullet Bills, etc.]
3. Mushrooms may only be eaten when found above ground (castles, underwater levels, and underground areas produce fungus from wet rye, i.e. not kosher). This also applies to 1-Up Mushrooms.
4. You may not complete a level with the timer ending in a 1, 3, or 6.
