I'm more focused on attaining a full continental army uniform to reenact the Revolutionary War. $45 could get me a nice haversack or canteen and powder horn.

I caught quite a few episodes a few years ago when the Cartoon Network was airing them pretty frequently. Although I enjoyed them as a kid, I can really only appreciate them for their nostalgic value these days. And that wears thin after a couple of episodes.

Only 33 episodes, when the first season has 65. I'm actually very tempted to get the entire series at broadcast quality from bootleggers. Taped off the air, then transferred from VHS to DVD. $25 for the entire 130 episodes. But, I won't. Not now that the official ones are coming out. I HAVE to buy those. Because those sales will go a long freaking way to getting other series that I can't get from my bootleggers on DVD.

I've had all these episodes for a while since Cartoon Network aired them. On the other hand it always makes me happy to see official 80s toon releases. Don't waste your money on this one new, buy it used or rent it I think my fave 80s toon dvd is still my $3 "Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors" single disc. Although, maybe I'm just a cheap bastard!

System 9 years 3 months ago Posts: 74809	if you liked the thundercats you should buy this set!! it will be a spring board for other cool cartoons that arent on DVD yet, just look at family guy the only reason its back on the air today is the fact that SOOOO many people bought the box sets on dvd!

Which is entirely true. There has been word of official interest in remaking the Thundercats for a decade now, there just hasn't been enough of it to justify actually doing it. If these sell through the roof, it could be the push we need to get it made.
