Back in the day (early eighties-early nineties), there was a Canadian kids show that was on constantly called Camp Caribou. It was a live action sketch show - nothing really extraoardinary, but I remember they had some cool crafts - that I always remember was made in Kitchener, Ontario.

Also, I remember the Glo Friends, an animated cartoon about little glow worms. It recieved immediate reception, seeing as two of the voices were Carroll O'Connor and Sally Struthers, which we all remember from All In the Family.

Then, there was Tell-a-tale Town, which may or may not have been Canadian. It starred Lois Walker, and basically the show just chronicled you supposedly taking the Royal Blue Bus around Tell-a-tale Town, and listening to stories that people had to tell. And at the end of each show, they ended up at an ice cream parlor for some reason.

Does ANYONE know ANYTHING about ANY of these shows? I've been having a mindrush lately of all these old kids shows I can find out nothing about. Not even the almighty Google can help me. Can you?

Thanks for any helpp :) ,
    Mason

Well, at least some one remembers Camp Caribou. I did eventually find info on the Glo Friends (Google strikes again!) and Tell-A-Tale Town (www.loiswalker.com) So maybe there is hope for the world after all.

I remember Tell-A-Tale Town and Camp Cariboo vividly. Actually there was a show with the same actors as Tell-A-Tale Town called Take Part, where they used to do crafts and they had this guy called 'Crazy Mr. Twister' ("Crazy Mr. Twister, he's a crazy guy..";) who used to do tongue twisters and they had this guy make things from recycled materials. Camp Cariboo lol! Remember Uncle Wesley and their song: "I've got a head like a ping pong ball"?. Haha, "Hats are off, on, locked!".

                  Camp Cariboo website: http://www.keeners.com/cariboo/about.html
If you look on the bottom of that page you'll see a link to the Home Page. Go there- they have some funny clips from the show (sorry the video clips are TINY, but enjoy regardless).

About Glo Friends, I don't remember the show at all, but my grandma has Glo Friend toys at her house, I had no idea that they were part of a tv show!

It's mine, I encoded it. Apparently I didn't get to watermark it in time for it to get taken without my permission and uploaded here. *sigh* It's really aggrivating when I have clips exclusive to my site and they just get taken and put here and I don't get a damn bit of credit.

I hope that your not trying to say that I went to your site and stole it from you. I don't think I have ever been on your site. If it is yours then I am sorry, it's not like I took it directly from your site, but I also don't like being called a thief. I have ALOT of different clips that I got from various peer to peer and bitorrent and I have know way of knowing where they come from. If they are watermarked or stamped in anyway then I delete them, if not then I use them.

No, I'm just saying it's a pain in the ass when I have something that's exclusive to my site and get no credit for it. I mean, I have to pay for my bandwidth, too. It comes off my hits when people can just get my stuff from an archive site.
