Gotta love LifeAlert. That and HeadON!
    DarkDesire667 Posted 6 years 4 months ago
On the new one, they tried to make it less funny, the old lady says "I have fallen and I can't get up, I need help!"

I will be making a retro soundboard... not for prank calls, but, pure nostalgia. This MUST be on it! at least, the audio :)

If you have fallen and can't get up to call for help, wouldn't you be risking it to call the 1-800 number to get the LifeAlert system? But yeah, the jokes that's been said over the years. Memories.

"I'VE FALLEN, AND I CAN'T GET UP!!!". This commercial is probably the one I remember most from when I was a kid. I still laugh to this day. What a classic.

I like the new version of the LifeAlert commercial. It sort of pays tribute to the old one.

I used to think this commercial was so funny when I was a kid, about 5 or 6 years old. Now I'm 24 and don't find it to be amusing at all, because it reminds me of my own grandparents, who are both in really poor health.

I wonder if the people who made this commercial had any idea at all it would become what it did? This commercial alone made Edith Fore a cult figure, but why oh why did the guy who portrayed Mr. Miller get the short shrift? I thought he was just as memorable as poor Mrs. Fletcher...

I remember my mom always saying that when I was lil. lol!
    deathboy13669 Posted 8 years 9 months ago
I know its not right to say this but I laughed my butt off when the old lady was down and she could not get up.

I remember this commercial, and even though it's wrong, I couldn't help but laugh at that old lady because she sounded funny. >

Hailey Posted 9 years 7 days ago
We're just making fun of how exaggerated it is!
Hailey Posted 9 years 7 days ago
    Oh lighten up!
Benjo Posted 9 years 12 days ago
"I'm having...chest pains!" It doesn't get any more hilarious than that. I really love the woman at the beginning with the humongous 80s hair.
    Simpfan83 Posted 9 years 13 days ago
Is THAT where the phrase "I've fallen and I can't get up!" came from???
    TV1985 Posted 9 years 14 days ago
I do remember this commercial. It's a good thing old people have (or had) those kinds of devices whenever they needed help when they couldn't dial 911.
    robmon300 Posted 9 years 14 days ago
    too funny ha ha
DieYuppieScum Posted 9 years 21 days ago
