Super Mario Got Milk (1990)

now this was a classic! i thought this commercial rocked!

I remember seeing this ad in the early 2000's. Why'd they take it off? It was funny and had Mario in it.

In other words: Best...Ad...Ever!

Also, in the DS version of SM64 you could grow big like that like Mario did in this commercial, but with the traditonal Mushroom, not milk.

This might sound wierd, but when I was 7 I took a gallon of milk out of the fridge & drank it the way Mario did in the commercial, much to my mother's dismay. She ACTUALLY KNEW that I picked that up from that Mario milk ad . lol

I remember only seeing this ONCE, and that was in 1999. I thought it was cool back then, but now you can see those polygons on him. They need to get this back on TV.

I remember this ad and thought it was great. If only those kids had Mario double jump. Also what's up with the music? Its not Super Marioish at all.

Those stupid kids could't let Mario jump on the commerical. You just had to double or triple jump on to the platform! Talk about stupid! They could have done A lot better then single jumping, Back then.

Oh, yeah! This is one of the commercials that made me want to get an N64! Of course, I stopped drinking milk since they took this off the air. BUT HEY, MILK COMPANIES! I'LL START BUYING YOUR PRODUCT AGAIN IF YOU BRING THIS AD BACK ON THE AIR!

This commerical rules I missed it ever since the day when the idiots involved with commericals took it off.Then I found retrojunk and now I can watch it whenever I want so here are some words SCREW U TV WE GOT RETROJUNK.

Man I still remember EVERYTHING about this commercail, I thought it was kinda weird when I first saw it, I thought it was the actual commercail to Super Mario 64 when I first saw it, and I had the game at the time and still do. I have alot of memories of that commercail. Also when I play Super Mario Sunshine when I'm stuck at a level I would say, How do we get out of this and my sister would say, we need, milk.

In Super Mario Land 2, one of the "powerups" was a bottle of milk with a letter "M" on it, and I think it gave you a couple hundred coins.

Mario is such a GameShark cheater. Using milk to help him grow so he can just step up those ledges? Has he ever heard of the triple-jump?

And why is MARIO using milk, anyway? I thought Link used that stuff.

This commercial was so AWESOME! The only bad thing about it is that Mario wouldn't get hurt if he'd touch a wall in "Super Mario 64". Also, the music matches NOTHING to the actual game, let alone the graphics are slightly different. However, it was still pretty funny that the stupid kids couldn't make him jump up to the platform! "Come on, Mario! Jump!" LOL! All they really had to do was make Mario double or triple jump in order to reach the platform just like in the game!
