Does that whistling (which of course is what a train does when it is used to alert of waiting passengers, or dangers) annoy you?

My mom bought this toy for my son but he was born in 73 which tells me this toy must have been available in the mid 70's. I remember it very well because it drove me crazy. He loved it so much that he played with it all the time, he couldn't have been much older than 2 or 3 years old. I would love to buy one now that I'm a grandmother. ; ) Does anyoe out there know how I could get one?

I was born in 76 and I had one of these when I was 3. There are some available through ebay and vintage sellers, but be ready to pay a nice sum of money. I purchased one for $70.

damn, ive never seen this commercial , but i remember having this toy!! i think i even have pictures of it with me too!

I remember having a version of this toy when I was young, but it was white in color overall.
