To everyone who said this is evocative of Looney Tunes... well, it is. You see, there's this one Porky Pig short where he hires this rooster singer to get the hens to lay eggs. And yes, this IS like a church.

I think this came on right before Looney Tunes on Nickelodeon.

Yep. This bumper IS just like a hillbilly church.

this whole bumper reminds me of a southern baptist church...jubilant, energetic pastor (rooster), equally jubilant choir (hens)

Yeah, I think they got this idea from Loony Tunes, when they used to air it a lot. The song is slighty annyoing though.

i thought they used the music in this one with the kids head

but you gotta admit the roosters were funny!

This commercial was bizarrely entertaining. "NICKELODEON!" sounded so boomingly cool when the chickens said it, and you gotta love the singing rooster's voice.

There was another iD feautruing a kids head in a chair, watching Nick, then the walls of the room explode, revealing a huge flag-type Nick logo. I don't remember this one. :/
