Skip-It was the best! I had like three of them! My brother broke the ball off the first one. My sister snapped the stick in half, and I still have my third one somewhere.
TheOutlaw Posted 6 years 2 months ago
I nearly broke my neck one time with this thing
    laser20 Posted 6 years 2 months ago
Wont lie - I loved it and was damn good at it!!! Me and my friends would see who could get the most..
    endlessly_intricate Posted 6 years 3 months ago
I had three of these... two of which broke and one was lost/stolen. I loved it so much though. So much that I tried to make one by filling a plastic bottle with rocks and tying a long shoe string onto it, which resulted in a painfully scraped knee.

I was always amazed by the counter...
sparklyjigglypuff Posted 6 years 5 months ago
I had one of these and I was SO PISSED because I couldn't do it, and I had this friend named Stacy who was really good at it, and she would be like, "it's okay if you're not good at it, you know. Not that many people are as good as the kids in the commercial." Which was easy for her to say.
Ireana Posted 6 years 5 months ago
Oh my god, my cousin had one of these and I remember wanting one sooooo bad but my mom wouldn't get me one. :(
sailor frekin moon Posted 6 years 6 months ago

Hanochan Posted 6 years 8 months ago
I've probably seen this commercial more than any other (Toy) commercial, and I've always been more concerned about the play ground that they're at. some of those things don't even exist, anyway I'm thankful I was able to see this commercial once more
nicolexann Posted 6 years 8 months ago
oh gosh, i still sing this jingle to drive people nuts. skip-it was the epitome of my childhood
    cweezy619wes Posted 6 years 8 months ago
This commercial would play on t.v all the time and I would never see anyone at school play with one of these things I guess because they didnt want to bring it. Actully I never knew one girl that owned one
kellyilla Posted 6 years 9 months ago
Tell me about it. My twin sister ALWAYS hit her shin or ankle with that. LOL.
    shady_life_83 Posted 6 years 9 months ago
    Loved that toy
    Shiny_Tulip Posted 6 years 9 months ago
It was fun for a while-
until it banged against your ankle. That was always such a bitch.
    80s90sboy87 Posted 6 years 10 months ago
    lol I remember this commercial
    lynn314 Posted 6 years 10 months ago
I had a "skip it" and I loved it because it was cool being able to tell how long I skipped with the counter!
Caps 2.0 Posted 6 years 10 months ago
The short version, I see. We actually had similar things to these in a gym class I was in many years ago. This must've been one of the first efforts to get kids into shape, thus foreshadowing the health fanaticism of modern culture.
