    After Milton Bradley discontinued this game around 1978, the company gave its female audience games like Heart Throb and Dream Phone to make up for the loss of the classic Mystery Date Game. It was not until 1999 that MB brought back the Mystery Date that '60s-early '70s board game fanatics knew and loved.

    And for those that don't know: there once was a masculine version, which of course didn't fare as well.

    This is one of my earliest TV memories. They later made a shot-for-shot version of the same commercial in color.

    That year for Christmas my sister Kathy got this game and I got Green Ghost. I was 7 and my sister was 9. I remember like it was yeaterday. What a wonderful time it was...

    i think my mom still has this game!! i remember this was the only game my mom would play with me when i was a kid!! such a great memory!!
