Star Wars Don't Smoke PSA (1980)

I can't remember this one.

Isn't smoking why Darth Vader talks like he does...

This was a very good PSA when I was 5 and 6. CP30s right smoking is bad for you. I decided never to smoke after my first uncle died in January 1986 of Lung Cancer. I was a little scared of this ad when it was first on when C3PO got right up to the screen and said please dont smoke.

'Hey, wanna buy a deathstick?'
-'You don't want to sell me a deathstick.'
'I don't want to sell you a deathstick.'
-'You want to go home and rethink your life.'
'I want to go home and rethink my life.'

This commercial used to scare me when I was little--when they close up on C3PO's face and he says "Please...don't smoke" it's creepy as hell

I am so glad that this was posted I have been looking all over for this comercial, I remember it very well, and it kind of made an influence on my life. On top of that it was also featured on TV's Bloopers and Practical Jokes; although this did not have bloopers in it they featured it in their touching comercials. Once again I am so glad that this was posted here. Thank you to whoever posted it.
