The 1988-93 Lorimar logo used the same animation as this one. Its music was a 6-note analog synthesizer tune.

I definitely agree with that.

That's not nearly as bad as the Lorimar-Telepictures logo that came on after Valarie. In fact that logo is pretty tame compared to the logo of the 1980s.

The Yellow Line of Doom. What's just as retro is the "TNN" logo in the corner before the logo appears.
