PBS 3D Glass Ident (1989) (1980)

I've seen thsi b4 alot in the 90's. :-D :-$

Classic PBS ident done by PDI using software developed entirely in-house.

I dreamed about my old 1989-1993 PBS logo when I watched Barney & Friends In Happy Birthday, Barney!!!! It sounded like a violin at the beginning, xylophone at the middle, synth xylophone at the middle-end, and the announcer saying, "This is PBS." at the end. After that, The evil dirty PBS logos has got me, and woke up in the morning.

That 1989-1993 PBS 3D glass logo makes me scared and have monsters getting out!

Now THIS is the tag that I knew and loved.

I always liked this one.

I remember this one from the 90's.

Well, you've got to thank PBS for at least trying to make their station IDs a little more tame than they did in the 1970s.

I thought this logo was last used in 1992, because the next ident, the orange CGI P-heads, might have been premiered before 1993.

There was also the alternate PBS logo used from 1989-1997 and used the same music and voiceover as this bumper. It was seen after episodes of Mathnet.

I saw this logo after Barney & Sesame Street around '95 or '96 and I loved the music, even though it would sometimes give me nightmares.
