Two Guys Department Stores (1970)

There was a chain of Two Guys stores all the way out in So. Cal as well.

Oh my gosh! I had to actually register with this page just to reply to what you just said about the sauerkraut smell! I do remember Two Guys,going there as a child (this one was in Woodbridge)but I had forgotten about the sauerkraut smell until you mentioned it. Yes, when we would first go inside there was someone cooking sauerkraut. Two Guys had everything from toys,food, cloths ,lawn furniture, even an automoblie parts section. I do remember Grants but not nearly as well.

Wow! Lemme tell ya, this ad brings back a load of childhood memories for me. During the 70\'s, if you lived anywhere in New Jersey, chances are, there was a Two Guys within a half-hour\'s drive from your home. I still have fond memories of going out with my family for a little shopping spree at one store in Ridgefield Park. I especially remember the food court that was located near the auto repair dept. and the coin operated rides they had. That was when we lived west of the Hudson River. When my family moved to the \'burbs, we shopped at the store in Watchung. And we kept shopping there up until the day the entire Two Guys chain went out of business at the end of 1981. Good times.
