my favorite of all the mc donald's commercials.. he's still around over seas..though he is CGT now..but i wish they'd bringhim back to the states.

McDonald's used to have great commercials. The kind you could connect to. Their commercial use to make you want to go McDonald's for Breakfast, lunch AND dinner. Not anymore. Sad.

isn't the jingle based on mack the knife song? very twisted song... yeah i love the mac tonite guy, reminds me of Jay Leno..

Great commercial. Man, there are a lot of old McDonald's commercials that I remember but didn't know that I remember, if you get what I mean.

I loved this commercial...and all of them! I owned Mac Tonight cups, posters and buttons from MacDonalds. I wish they would bring him back!!

I had some of the cups too. They did have that problem with scratching too. I miss Mac Tonight

Yes I quite liked that ad. I also had some plastic cups with him printed on it. Those el cheapo ones where it slowly scratches off over time.

oops, i just viewed the other 21 comments from this commercial and not just the 5 they posted at the commercial screen. Thats really good that others like the commercial. I thought I was alone on this. Hence the defensive first line. Sorry.

Despite the bad press on this site, I LOVE THAT COMMERCIAL. I have been looking for that commerercial everywhere. To me that was the 80's. I must have been six years old when that came out. And for the longest time i had a recorded tape with the first ghostbusters on it. And that commercial was on it a couple of times. I lost that tape and that commercial. But there it is. Its from my childhood. I Love it.

I thought I saw a burger that looked like a Whopper in this ad.

FOR SOME REASON THIS COMMERCIAL REMINDS ME OF MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL. I GUESS THEY MUST OF PLAYED IT DURING THE COMMERCIAL BREAKS. THE HUMAN BRAIN IS CRAZY. CERTAIN THINGS JOG CERTAIN MEMORIES.

Who could ever forget that moon for "Mac Tonight" Comercials,it was like a trend that went away fast yet there was some costumes for that moon man, and I think they are very limited. Too bad some of the young ones have not seen or heard this comercial, I have a roomate who is 10 years younger, and he knew nothing about this comercial
