Totally miss Burger Chef!

Another of the old fast food chains I'd forgotten about. Thanks for posting it.

Burger Chef was my favorite fast food joint when I was little, only because of their "Fun Meals". McDonald's answered with the Happy Meal, but I was a bit too old for that by then.

This was the first fast food I ever had. I remember getting a dollar for lunch and getting a burger, fries and Coke. Ahhhh...the good old days!

I lived in Owosso Michigan and we had one of these. It was a great place to go I liked it better than Mc Donlds at the time. Hollywood is my nickname.

We had one in midland texas and i loved until they sponsored some anti-hunting cartoon and my dad wouldn't let us eat there anymore.

Was that a West Coast or a Mid West thing??? I don't recall seeing a Burger Chef on Long Island, where I grew up in the Seventies.

I used to love Burger Chef with a passion, although I must say I do remember those 'works bars' as being revolting, with ketchup and stray lettuce scattered everywhere. After they turned into Hardee's they lost me for good.

I miss Burger Chef.

I loved Burger Chef.

That boy's voice sounds really irritating.
