BTW, I've used 1-800-COLLECT in recent times, and it still works! Upon dialing the number from a payphone, you hear a chime followed by an automated voice saying "Thank you for dialing 1-800-COLLECT. To make a collect call, enter the number you wish to call, area code first". Then after entering the 10-digit number, the automated voice instructions say "Please say your name after the tone", and then you hear a beep and say your name, and then they ask the person you're calling if they'll accept the charges. Unfortunately, everyone I call using 1-800-COLLECT (1-800-265-532 rejects the charges for the calls I attempt to make without coins when I'm at the payphone! :
