ABC Stars (1978) - We're the One (1970)

ABC's a pretty good station. I'm not too keen on any of their new primetime programs. But, their stuff in the 70's, 80's and 90's was amazing.

Their Daytime is the only one I watch. AMC,OLTL, and GH are all great soaps.

I don't know. I liked it back then and now, too. To me, it's a nice piece of music--but that didn't seem to be disco, to me anyway.

I also liked their other one from earlier in the decade, "This Is The Place to Be". It would have to be the longer version, though, or it didn't count.

Looked like some sorta wacked up version of We Are The World, but all they were trying to do was make money for the network Is anyone else glad disco is dead? I think we all know why a lot of the shows that were on then left ABC...so they would not have to do another thing like that.

I was 5, yet I still remember this commercial because of that awful jingle. Better yet, I remember every single one of the shows that were featured - Even Carter's Country and the Donnie & Marie Variety Show! This was the year ABC was number #1. A year later, all their great shows began jumping the shark. Especially Happy Days and L&S.

That was from an old 16mm print of the ABC Promo "We're the One", but it looked a lot like the NTA prints used in TV packages of the old Paramount cartoons, because of the red.
