It wasn't just one move but more like a half hearted series of T.V. movies that ran for two years. CBS didn't want to be known as a "superhero" network so SPider-Man was given a series of T.V. movies, most two parters. I first saw these in 1991 when USA Network aired every single one of them over the Thanksgiving weekend. I taped them and watched every episode over and over untill the tapes wore out.
I've seen this a couple of time when Sci-Fi used to show it and a bunch of other superhero movies during thier Christmas Marathons. I always wished that this movie had ended up on Myster Science Theater 3000, because it was the kind that MST3K could take and make it into a great watching experince.
I actually saw this movie. The effects were alright for the time but the movie itself wasn't that good. The enemy in the movie wasn't even a normal foe of his from the comics, and the guy that played Spider-man barely said a word and of course we all know that Spider-man is known for being a big talker in the comic books. This brings back memories though.
