This was before my times. I was born in 1991. i remember i used to watch WPHL-TV 17 during the WB days. From 1996-1998 i watched reruns of "Darkwing Duck." From 1998 to 2002 i watched all WHYY-TV. and KYW-TV (i watched TPiR every day of my life) From 2002-2005 i watched "Yu-Gi-Oh," just as religiously as i watched TPiR, and from 2003-NOW i watched "Maury Povich." I'll admit that MyPhl17 is good, but the WB days equal friggin' nostalgia.

Actually, Tribune still owns WPHL. Fox (My Network TV's owner) never owned WPHL.

I remember. The WB and UPN were born in 1995 and this station was known as WB-17, now the WB and UPN merged forming the CW, and My Network TV bought this station and brought back the PHL 17 id, which is now MyPHL 17.

I barely remember this one. I watched 17 a bit later on, around 1992--1994 (before it changed to WB 17).
    Quote O' Matic
    • Simon: Okay, just ask yourself: What do women really want? You take these bored housewives, married to the same guy for years, they're stuck in a rut, then need some release! Promise of adventure, a hint of danger. I create that for them.
    • Harry: So basically, your lying your ass off the whole time. See, I can't do that.
    • Simon: What are you, a boy scout? No, no, no, think of it as playing a role as fantasy. I mean, you got to work on their dreams. Get them out of their daily suburban grind for a few hours.
    • Harry: But what about their husbands?
    • Simon: Dickless! I mean, let's face it, if they took care of business, I'd be out of business! You know what I mean?
    • Harry: Those idiots!
