Pitfall by Activision (1980)

I used to love playing this on my Atari 2600! It was a lot easier jumping across those crocodiles with use of a joystick controller than it is with the arrow keys on my computer keyboard...hence the reason I don't play it on the emulator sites.

This was a great game. I still play it sometimes on my Emulators.

in my opinion pitfall is activision's crowning achivement. what a great game!


the video quality was lacking unfortunaly

This was my favorite rainy day game to play on our 2600, when I was growing up. I always heard that you could eventually beat it, but I could play for hours and not finish.

I played this game the other day on the Flashback Atari console. Classic!

I think its kind of funny that he calls the snakes cobra rattlers since its sort of self explanatory that its tail would rattle.

best game' i loved this one, the sounds were revelutionary for its time
