Also Robot Chicken skewered this logo too. Instead of the pervervial "Sit Ubu, Sit! Good Dog. Rowf" it goes "Sit Ubu, Sit! Bad dog!" and someone shooting the dog.

Roi means King in french so Ubu's full name is Ubu King.

I never said the Ubu logo did come on after Night Court. I suppose I should have completed my thought. The Starry Night Production logo that came on after Night Court was creepy to me. I don't know why but it was.

Just a little trivia. Ubu Roi, the dog pictured in the production logo's picture, died in 1984. He used to play frisbee with his owner Gary David Goldberg during his college days. Gary David Goldberg is the voice over saying "Sit Ubu! Sit! Good dog" then Ubu Roi responds with a quick bark.

Has Ubu Productions made any show after Spin City? I don't remember exactly which shows were made my Ubu and had this bump, but I remember seeing it at the end of a few shows I watched regularly in the late 80s and 90s, then when I watched Spin City, I was like "Ubu!" It was like reuniting w/a long-lost pet. But I haven't seen it since.

This comes on after Spin City. And yes, this logo NEVER appeared after Night Court. The laugh in the "Starry Night Productions" logo sounds like Ray Charles.

I always liked this logo. Just for fun I'd like to have a dog and name him Ubu.

Yeah, the Starry Night Productions Logo was after Night Court. My Uncle laughs like that guy.

I'd like to see this logo, but with the Blue Mountain. I miss the Blue Mountain very much now.

This never frightened me as much as some of the other 80s logos did.

*shudder* Call me weird, but this logo still gives me the chills!
