The Volare (1970)

At the auto part store I work at, a man came into buy an alternator for a 1979 Volaire. He hasn't driven it since 1995 but was putting it back on the road since he newer car from 1995 blew a head gasket and the engine burned up. He was on disability so he could not afford to buy a newer one so the Volaire had to do. It had the basic Chrysler slant-6 engine. One good thing about those cars, they are easier to fix.

My inlaws still have their volare wagon sitting in their front yard. My wife was embarrassed by it, but the parents drove it until the mid nineties.

We had a volare wagon. then bought a Dodge Omni. Man that wagon was nice for what it was worth.
