Big Red Soda | Retro Junk Commercial

Does anyone remember the Big Red commercial where there was a boy singing "Big Red you've been around so long and you still belong to me"? there was also one done with a girl singing it. It was done back in the 70's, and I can't find it anywhere.

I, too, have been looking for the same commercials you write about. It brings back such great childhood memories. I remember a black and white commercial, but I might be wrong.

Some of those kids look like the cast from "Degrassi old school."

When I think of Big Red, I think of that blood-squirting lumberjack toy from that "Saturday Night Live" spoof commercial.

Way cool fashions in the commercial, though, and I'm always a sucker for a red-haired woman.

Big Red is some kickass soda, but this is a weird commercial. XD

Nothing more contradictory than a company telling you to "be original" by buying their product. I guess Big Red passed that torch to Dr. Pepper.
