I'm not sure if thirteen is the right age to be targeted here. When I was thirteen, the people I associated with certainly didn't offer me drugs at all. I didn't even try smoking pot for the first time until I was sixteen. However, I am from a tiny city in Canada.. so who knows.

Actually, I have to agree with ThaMasterHand. Canada's commercials are much better. The Above the Influence commercials are pretty good, especially the whole puppet one that shows late nights on Adult Swim. Creeped me out first time I saw it.

Yep, you couldn't walk 1 meter without someone offering you a hit back when i was 13. Especially old people and florists.

If I lived in a city where well-mannered and normal people smoked pot...Why, I don't know what I'd do!

I get it, of course--- people your age handing out drugs. But if every single kid in town is pushing, then you need to move to another town! Unless you're into that, of course. Again, weed in moderation is just fine!

instead of doing a peer pressure commercial with kids in it they used adults instead, probably implying that adults are so self centered and ignorant of their children's goings on that they needed to do it in this angle, using an adults daily routine instead of a kid's.

I hate how the elderly are always persuading kids to do drugs.

This just doesn't make any sense. The people in this advert would not know drugs if they bit them in the bum ! As for this being a day in the life of a 13 year old I'm not so sure !
