Apple Cinnamon Rice Krisppies (1990)

Once again, this commercial inspired by Who Framed Roger Rabbit after November 11, 1989 Saturday.

OK...now I'm thinking: Did either Tank Girl creator Jaime Hewlett or genius musician Damon Albarn come across this commercial on the telly and think "hmm...wouldn't it be such a great idea if we created a band, like something in the vein of The Banana Splits, only hipper...and the members would consist of...cartoon gorillas! NO, WAIT! We'll just call them "Gorillaz", but, instead, they'll be REAL human beings disguised as cartoon gorillas! NO WAIT! Let's make 'em CARTOON HUMANS! BRILLIANT!!!

Another good cereal I remember from my childhood. This and Rice Krispies Treats were some of the best!

Yet another cereal commercial where the main character refuses to share, or the others refuse to get another bowl and insted try to steal away another person's.

What was the gorilla's name? Max? Bax? Thax? I wish I had close captioned TV when this commercial was around.

I remember it, too, I miss it!! Why oh why to cereal companies tease us with good cereal then take it away? Putting cinnamon and sugar on regular rice krispies is not the same
