      I loved that commercial when it was on TV Land when they aired it as a "retromercial"! It is still one of my favorite 80s-era TV adverts to this day!

        He was also endorsing Pepsi in the Back to the Future movies. When he went into the soda shop and asked for a Pepsi Free, and the tender looked at him like he was nuts and said if you want a pepsi you gotta pay for it. Then he asked for a TAB, lol... Finally he ended up settling for coffee because in 1955 they didn't have diet or caffeine free drinks.

            69 cents for a 32 ounce soda? Damn. You can't even get a 20 ounce soda for 69 cents these days.
