Oh, thanks for telling me this. I actually did not know that. You learn something new everyday. The name of the store is just misleading, hence why I thought that lol.

If its called Canadian Tire then why wouldn't they sell tires? It probably confused a lot of people because we all know when you hear the word tire you think of sporting goods.

However, they probably mean "Atire" instead of just tire so then that would make a little sense but if it was called Canadian Atire it would be a clothing store not a sporting goods store so either way it makes no sense.

Well, they got rid of that jerk-off, permanently. So we won't have to see that anymore.

I definitely remember the ending of this commercial. Saw this in the late 80's-early 90's.

I hope we never see Canadian Tire commercials from the last few years on here.

The beginning reminds me of this McDonald's commercial:

Canadian Tire is actually a combination automotive/sporting goods store that is about as big as Walmart in Canada. This commercial, although unknown outside of Canada, is well known to Canadians. The older brother (Scott Schwartz) is best known as the kid in "The Toy" (with Richard Prior)and as "Flick" in "A Christmas Story" - who got his tongue frozen to the flagpole at school.
