i found a Tokyu shirt in my local salvation army thrift store today. the garment is simply one of the coolest pieces of clothing i currently own. snaps and details artfully placed - and one triangular pocket. multi colored panels in a muted pastel tone. this thing SCREAMS 1982. i've really grown fond of these things lately, and have some good examples in my wardrobe by Gitano and Van Huesen Custom Club as well. i mix em up with garments of other time periods...post modern chic? who knows. i could just be SICK!!! this little piece of commercial ephemera really made me smile AND brought some legitimacy to my purchase somehow. dig this site, and now a member - obviously. bravo!
