Just plug it in your genesis.....and plug another AC power adapter into the wall....and hook up the video cable from the Genesis to the 32x.....what? It's still not working? OH you have a model 1 Genesis, you retard, you need to buy an extra cable for that, now hook up THAT cable to the other cable that came with the 32x and hook those up to your 32x....oh, and don't forget to hook the video feed from your 32x to your tv since the video feed from your genesis is going to your 32x....Still not working?! Jeez you're dumb! Slide it around a bit in the cartridge slot, you probably didn't put it in right...alright, enjoy your...um..game..we only made a couple...

the idea behind this nightmare was to make you think you were upgading your genesis instead of buying a new console. the initial hardware i hear was really buggy as well. found mine in a flea market with games for $10. i dont even have a power stip big enough to run my genesis/segacd/32x at the same time.

If you watch the Angry Video Game Nerd's review of this system, you'll see why this system didn't last very long.

This thing was the biggest POS in the history of video games. The games looked like crap, you had to plug it into power separately, and you had to run a separate video line to the Genesis even after it was plugged into the top. If you had a Genesis with a 32x and a Sega CD the thing looked like an absolute monstrosity!

I like when the guy threateningly tells you to stick it in your Genesis!

I thought this attachment was pretty good, it just was bad marketing for SEGA that made it flop. Also the fact thta some 32x's were faulty, I never had one that worked for more than 6 months were as my other systems have lasted years. I do think they had some good titles though: Knuckles Chaotix, Star Wars Arcade, Zaxxon: Motherbase, and a few others. It just was to glitchy and too sensitive to maintain for years.

I agree, benjamillion! When compared to the Genesis and the 32x (which hooked to the Genesis) the SNES was always better! I always thought Sega was pretty overrated anyway because even though the graphics were good and slightly faster than the SNES, the games were boring! (except for some of the Sonic ones) It also goes to show you how weak the Genesis was since they needed to create a device in order to play 32-bit games on it! The SNES could aleady play a 32-bit game made for it like, "Chrono Trigger" (a classic RPG) without the need for a stupid device that you had to buy seperately! To hell with Sega! Long live Nintendo!
