YTV has some of those same split screens on some of their programs but other times they don't have them at all. I find that split screens are obnoxious and make reading the closing credits impossible.
I remember WPIX used to have that "Coming Up Next" bumper since it was done back in 1986 until they dropped it in 1989. This was long before the split screen credits at the end of various reruns was introduced in the late 90's as well as the credit crunch where it is still showing the promo for the next show which is coming up next while the closing credits appear while it is split screen.
