I wish to thank the Yule Log site for this opening of the WPIX's "Holiday Movie Special". The "Holiday Movie Special" has been on WPIX-TV for years since the 70's where they featured old movies from that era "March of the Wooden Soldiers", the original "Miracle on 34th Street" and others. The intro for this movie package was "Santa's Got a Brand New Bag" by the Hollyridge Strings. I have the whole song on 8-Track as well as on my iPod. It was from the album "The Instrumental Christmas Favorites", it was still out of print. It lasted right up until the early 80's.
