50. Family Ties

The series centered around the Keaton family, Steven and his wife Elyse, both flower children of the 1960's. They had four children, Alex, Mallory, Jennifer and Andrew, who was born in 1985.

A wealthy family living in Bel-Air, California, receives a dubious gift from their poorer relations in Philadelphia when Grammy Award-winner Will Smith arrives as The Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air. His mother wants him to learn some good old-fashioned values from his successful relatives. Set in San Francisco, this is a show about a very loving family headed by Danny Tanner, who became a single father when his wife, Pam Tanner, was killed in a car accident. Pam's brother Jesse, and Danny's best friend Joey Gladstone moved into the house to help Danny raise his three daughters D.J., Stephanie, and Michelle.

46. Lois and Clark: The New Adventures of Superman


With the unknowing help of Lois Lane (Teri Hatcher), Clark Kent (Dean Cain) created Superman there in Metropolis after finding work at the world-famous Daily Planet newspaper, where he meets fellow reporter Lois Lane. After Superman's debut, Lois becomes infatuated with Superman and continues to reject Clark's romantic overtures due to past bad experiences with men.

45. Rescue 911
Rescue 911 was a reality show hosted by William Shatner. The show consisted of re-enactments of real life emergency situations and documentaries of hospitals, police, and firefighters. The show ran for seven seasons on CBS from 1989 to 1996.

44. Three's Company

The show had a simple premise - Jack Tripper , a student at a local cooking college, wanted to move in with two girls, Janet Wood and Chrissy Snow. The only problem - the building's landlord, Mr. Stanley Roper, who lives in the apartment below with his wife, Mrs. Helen Roper. In order for him to stay, he would have to pretend to be gay.

43. The Facts of Life

In the first season the stories revolved around Mrs. Garrett and her adjustment to her new job. The first season also introduced to us seven girls, Nancy, Blair, Sue Ann, Cindy, Molly, Natalie and Tootie. At the beginning of the second season, the cast was trimmed down to Mrs. Garrett and four primary girls, Blair, Tootie, Natalie and a new girl, Jo.

42. Desperate Housewives

41.La Femme Nikita

Based on the cult motion picture of the same name, the sexy, stylish spy series La Femme Nikita ran from 1997 to 2001 on the USA network. Starring Peta Wilson as Nikita, the series saw a young woman framed for murder and given a choice: be sentenced to life imprisonment, or work for Section One, a clandestine anti-terrorism organization. Nikita chose life, soon discovering that she is just the latest pawn in Section's games.

40. Joan of Arcadia

Joan of Arcadia is a drama that follows a typical family facing atypical situations, not the least of which is their teenage daughter's conversations with God. A tough but soft-hearted police detective in Arcadia, Will Girardi dreams of providing a safe haven for his family and community. An outbreak of serious crime in his idyllic new town has challenged Girardi's desire for order, as have the ups and downs he faces with his family. Daughter Joan,an average teenager, has been acting a little strange. Most don't know that it has to do with the unusual way various people keep popping up, introducing themselves as God and then giving her specific directions to do things, such as get a job, join the debate team or volunteer with children.
