This is an abysmal website for such a great show. Surely NightFlight deserves better than this. Horrible layout, uncountable misspellings, and numerous errors. It's a shame that this show has become so forgotten.
Twg915- your right, it was called Nick Danger and the Case of the Missing Yolk and it's about a poor country bumkin family named the Yolks who are 'beamed' into a new house with all of the latest hi-tech gizmos and soon realize that their old poorer way of life was not so bad. Unfortunately i didn't remember it until after I finished my article. Good call though
One movie I remember on Night Flight was "The Case of the Missing Yolk". I couldn't tell you what it was about but it did have a commercial for "Rat in the Box" and "Boobie Chew". Does anyone remember that one?
Thanks for the article. I have fond memories of a group of friends early in high school, we would go to a friends house ( thank you Jennifer) play risk/axis& allies and watch whatever night flight offered. Dynaman was the favored ( still have a episode on vhs somewhere) , but you never did know what you would get: reggae sunsplash, skiing videos, or "I was a zombie for the F.B.I.. I dont think it could be released on dvd as such, getting releases would be a nightmare. I would think a best of compilation with the material that was prouduced for the show, such as dynaman would be possable, I hope. thanks for the memories. Also as a member of the church of the subgenius, trust me, we are in on the joke.
great article, I actually have a friend who is a member of the Church of Subgenius.
I loved Fritz the Cat. but its not an Anime, nor was it ever meant to be. and Animes aren't defined by being X-rated.
Outside Japan, the term Anime most popularly refers to animation originating in Japan.
Night Flight was great to bad all you see on USA late nights on Friaday and Saturday nights are caceled TV shows of the 90s and 2000s, lame movies, and informmercials how I miss the early days of USA.
WOW!!! And double WOW!!!I thought you last article was good, but you actually topped yourself. This is by far the best article ever produced on this website, it deserves its own special page.
I loved Night Flight, and I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one who remembers that great show. Thanks for the memories...
Maybe best and most complete article ever on Retrojunk. I'd give you way more than a thumb up if I could. This article should get a special spot on retrojunk! Awesome!
I loved Night Flight. I actually have a VHS tape full of the Dynaman episodes from Night Flight. I bought it bootleg at Wizard World in like 2001. Great article and great stuff. (I just watched the Dynaman tape again a few weeks back at my comic shop.)
I remember watching that as a little kid, my older cousins and I would always stay up just to see that show! Night Flight is what MTV should of been. Great article!
