Where should I start on this one? I can't believe that it is 2007 already; time has flown by indeed! As many of you are aware, I will turn 25 this year, and yet I still remember some of the stuff the came out during the late-1980's and into the 1990's. The picture you see now is one of my current pictures, but before I started attending Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi, I looked much younger and scrawnier; I kind of resembled my late uncle "Pee-Wee" back when I was a kid. This article takes a look back at some of the things I used to watch, play, or listen to when I was a child. To quote the legendary L.O.D.: What a rush!

My Three Favorite TV Shows of All-Time!

1. (TIE) Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (1987-1996)

This show was a CLASSIC! This was my favorite show to watch every day after school; I still remember owning almost every single action figure that existed; in all actuality, I had about 100 of 'em. The theme was catchy too, and the show has had a tremendous cult following over the years. I still remember those "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Pies"!

1. (TIE) The Price is Right (1972-present day)

Longevity. That is the only word that best summarizes TPiR. This was the show I used to look forward to watching at 10:00 every weekday morning during the summertime after school would let out. Bob Barker is a television icon, plain and simple; I will miss him very much when he retires at the end of the 35th Season. Before he hangs up the mic for good however, I will fulfill my dream of seeing Bob in person for the very first time in late March--just before my 25th birthday.

3. Wheel of Fortune

You could say that I'm a HUGE gameshow fan. WoF was the first show that I got hooked on; I remember it being on at 6:30 every weeknight. Pat and Vanna are still goin' strong today, but the game has changed so much since I first started watching back in 1987.

My Three Favorite Video Games of All-Time!

1. Mega Man 2 (NES)

Didn't Quick Man's stage piss you off so badly that you wanted to break your controller in half? That was half of the madness of MM2, one of the first NES games I was hooked on.

2. Metal Gear Solid (PSX)

Kojima was drinkin' something pretty good when he made this game, because the cinematics and the fresh storyline were the things that totally blew me away.

3. Final Fantasy II/IV

OK, this was the first FF game that I've ever played, and I must say that it was pretty damn HARD to beat. I still haven't beaten the game to this day, but the producers did a helluva job with the music and created a story that is fit...for a king, perhaps!

My Three Favorite Songs of All-Time

1. "Bohemian Rhapsody" --Queen

2. "Enter Sandman" --Metallica

3. "Addicted to Love" --Robert Palmer

The first 25 years of my life were very meaningful; I can't wait to see what awaits me in the next 25 years!
