Ready, Docs? Jump on the time machine as I review Bugs Bunny: Lost in Time!

Greetings everybody, somedude here. Well' now it's v.2, thanks to my idiot friend. Anyway, Let's get started. Released on June 31, 1999, this game was a fun and crazy trip through time as Bugs Bunny raced to get clocks, golden carrots, and beat down classic Looney Tunes characters along the way, to get back to his own time. What game am I talking about?

Ok, here's the story: While trying to go to Pismo Beach, Bugs takes a wrong turn at Albuquerque (You'd think after all these years, Bugs would learn the right turn!), and ends up at some old shack where a time machine, that runs on carrot juice, sits.

Bugs, mistaking it for a juicer, turns it on, and, just as the title says, gets lost in time.

You suddenly get transported to god knows where, and you see that you can only go to one place: Nowhere.

No, not THAT Nowhere!

When you get there, you meet Merlin Munroe, who tells you that the only way to get back to your own time is by collecting enough clocks (120 to get to the last level):

from these 5 places:

The Stone Age: The Boss here is Elmer Fudd.

The Pirate Years: The head cheese here is Yosemite Sam.

The 1930's: There are 2 head men here, Rocky & Mugsy.
"Adrian!"

Just Kidding.

The Medieval Period: The main one here is Witch Hazel.

And Demension X: run by Marvin the Martian.

Will Bugs Bunny get back to his own time? Will Wil E. Coyote ever catch The Roadrunner? To find out the answers to most, but not all the questions (Sorry Wil E.), play the game and find out!

MY THOUGHTS: This game is fun. I mean if you're a fan of Looney Tunes, you will enjoy this. I remember coming home after school, getting a sandwich, sitting on the couch and playing this game. My favorite world in this game is The Pirate Years. Why? Because 1. Pirates kick ass. and 2. You get to beat up Yosemite Sam.

Another thing I enjoyed was when you have to escape from enemies & it goes right into a chase scene. The objects you use to escape from an enemy is crazy: from driving a car:

To straddling a sheep. Yes, straddling a sheep. Get your minds out of the gutter you sick freaks.

Perhaps my favorite race was against Daffy, where you have to flip as many hunting-season signs as possible in the time limit.

And my favorite boss fght was when you have to fight Marvin the Martian, because Marvin is uber cool, and cause I want his weapon: The Subspace Thermal Modulator, so I can take over the galaxy! Isn't that lovely?

Basically what I'm saying is that this game is a classic. There are more then a few classic Looney Tunes characters in this one, but not all (Sorry, Wil. E, Sylvester, Speedy, Tweety, Road Runner, Foghorn, Porky, Pepe, and all you other guys.) So if you're a Looney Tunes fan, or if you're just lookin' for a goofy platformer, then this game's for you, Doc!

'Til next time!
