My Favorite Movie of the 80's

My memory of my favorite movie of the 80's...!

I have one main movie of the 80's and it is...(drum roll please...)....

The....Break....fast...Club..!
The breakfast is the movie...but
you probably new that alreadii..

See this is a memory...well
it really isn't a memory...it more like a...
thing that bring me back to my...when,
childhood, is now...! Cause I'm still a child...

But anyways...this is one of the all time
greatest movies because when, for one,
look at the cast I mean....Molly Ringwald,
Judd Nelson, Emilio Estevez, Ally Sheedy,..
and of coarse, Anthony Michael Hall..!
I mean you can't go wrong with this cast..!

Another about this movie is the laughter
that it brought me. Judd Nelson as John Bender
...I mean like.. WOW! He always made me laugh
through the whole movie..! The others characters
were great too...they also made me laugh..!

I remember the first time I saw this movie...
it was on a summer day...USA had showed it...
and since I have always been crazy about this movie..
I had to watch it..
when I finished watching it... I was dissatisfied..
they actually took some of the scenes out of the movie
cause it was "rated R"!

So I decided to go looking for the movie
around town. I look everywhere until my hopes
were down. NOT A SINGLE STORE had the movie..
So as soon as I was about to stop trying...
I went in one more stored...and..
POW..! there it was! In Block Buster!
I pick up the movie with all my might and
hurry to the counter..
It cause me my whole $25 but it was worth it..
To this day... I still have this movie...watching it
everyday making sure not to waste anytime...

Some people may say this movie sucks...
and that's their opinion...but I say it rocks..
and that's my opinion and it is the best opinion yet..!

So here's some advice...
if you been searching everywhere for a movie,
but can't find it, don't let you hopes down..
remember to keep looking...
cause it's out there somewhere...
maybe even around the corner...waiting for
you to come get it...!

Hey look at me....I found my favorite movie
and I sure you can do...all it takes is devotion
and perseverance..and I promise you will find
what you looking for

Until next time....
Charlieya...
Will be back with more...
memories...!

Obviously, effort was put into the article. This whole subject seems passionate. The failure of the article is in the way it is presented, as I covered in my other comment.

Dalmatianlover, you should know better than anyone that criticism can hurt. Let us not dissuade article writers from trying harder in the future.

Before you write another article, you might want to know what's wrong with this one and why it died a horrible death. I'm going to help you with this. Understand that this criticism is not meant to hurt your feelings.

For starters, the sentence structure is terrible. There are far too many ellipses (...) and exclamation points being used in place of proper punctuation. And, in many cases, the sentences are incomplete.

The article rambles around quite a bit. You don't focus enough on what's important, and while I liked the personal touch about your search for the movie, it seemed to come out of nowhere and didn't mesh with the rest of the article.

You didn't include any pictures. That, all by itself, will usually kill an article on Retro Junk. Even if you have the best written article around, people will automatically down-vote it if you didn't include something visual to entertain them. So, make sure to add some pictures the next time.

Finally, the formatting of the text causes one to think that they are about to read a poem or some song lyrics. There really wasn't any reason why you couldn't have carried the sentences all the way to the end of the line.

If you need help developing future articles, be sure to ask around. Best of luck to you.
