Hello everyone! This is now my 11th article and I hope you enjoyed my last article which was known as "My Sonic game collection". This article is sort of similar to my last article, the only difference is that it would be about my Mario game collection instead of my Sonic game collection. There would be a total of nine Mario games in this article. I will now start off with my all time favorite Mario game and if you guessed Super Mario 64...that would be correct!







Super Mario 64 was released in the year of 1996. The game starts out with an invitation that was given to Mario from Princess Peach. By the time Mario jumps out of the warpipe and enters Princess Peach's castle, he was given an unwelcomed greeting from Bowser. Mario was probably thinking: "Why does the princess get kidnapped every time I come to see her? WHY DOES THIS ALWAYS HAPPEN TO ME?!" Anyways, the goal for Mario is to find all of the stars in the 15 courses and in the 15 secret star courses. You will need at least 70 stars to defeat Bowser and the overall total of stars in Super Mario 64 is 120 stars. Once you have Bowser defeated, you save Princess Peach and all of her worthless Toads and everyone celebrates by making a cake. Maybe Princess Peach should make a cake like this...











Mario Kart 64 was released in 1997. Mario Kart 64 would be the second Mario Kart game to ever be released. This game can be played with one, two, three, or four players at a time. You can play as either Mario, Luigi, Peach, Toad, Yoshi, Wario, Donkey Kong, or Bowser. Your main goal is to place in either 1st, 2nd, 3rd, or 4th place in order to get points and win a cup. If you get 1st place you will get 9 points, if you get 2nd place you will get 6 points, if you get 3rd place you will get 3 points, and if you get 4th place you will only get 1 point. If you place in either 5th, 6th, 7th, or 8th place, you will receive no points. There are four different cups that you can win and they are the Mushroom Cup, the Flower Cup, the Star Cup, and the Special Cup. Each cup will have four different race tracks and their difficulty depends on the type of cup that you are trying to win. The highest score you can receive is a 36 and the lowest score you can get is obviously a zero.







Mario Party was released in 1999 and it was also the very first Mario Party game to ever be released in the Mario Party series. Mario Party is basically like playing a normal board game but some of the differences is that the game is based off of the Mario series and it has these short timed games known as mini-games which makes the game a whole lot of fun, there are a total of 56 mini-games. There are four mini-game types in Mario Party and they are known as "2 vs 2" mini-games, "1 vs 3" mini-games, "one player only" mini-games, and "four player" mini-games. The "2 vs 2" mini-games are where there are two teams of two characters. The "1 vs 3" mini-games are the games where there is one team of three characters and one team with only one character. The "one player only" mini-games are mini-games that only have one character playing. The "four player" mini-games are mini-games that have all four characters playing. The main goal of the game is to collect as many stars as possible in order to beat the game. At the end of the game, there are only three prizes that are given out to the characters and those three prizes would be known as the "Mini Game Star", the "Coin Star", and the "Happening Star".







Mario Party 2 was released for the Nintendo 64 in the year of 2000. The game starts out with an argument between all of the characters due to only one character that does not agree with the name "Mario Land" and who could be the only person that does not agree with anything Mario related...obviously it would be none other than Wario, the total opposite of Mario. The main goal of Mario Party 2 is the same as the first Mario Party game, collect at least 20 coins in order to get a star and whoever has the most stars wins the game. Mario Party 2 is basically the same as the first Mario Party game except that some of the board games, mini-games, and the spaces are a bit different. You still have the same characters that you will see in the first Mario Party game and their only difference is that they wear costumes in all of the board games except for Bowser Land and all of the mini-games.

Mario Party 3 was released back in 2001. Mario Party 3 was the last game of the Mario Party series to ever be released on the Nintendo 64. Mario Party 3 still has the same playable characters that are in the first two Mario Party games and they are Mario, Luigi, Yoshi, Peach, Donkey Kong, and Wario but that does not end here. There happens to be two more characters that were added in Mario Party 3 and they are known as Daisy and Waluigi. Daisy is the princess of Sarasaland and Waluigi would be Wario's younger brother. Mario Party 3 is once again almost the same as the first two Mario Party games, collect at least 20 coins to get a star and whoever has the most stars will be the winner of the game. One of the newest features to be in Mario Party 3 is known as the Story Mode in which you collect stamps from other characters after defeating them. Once you have all of the stamps, you get to fight the Millennium Star and you will win the game if you defeat the Millennium Star.







Mario Tennis was released in the year of 2000 for the Nintendo 64. There are now a total of 16 characters in Mario Tennis and they are the following: Mario, Luigi, Yoshi, Baby Mario, Birdo, Wario, Waluigi, Peach, Daisy, Donkey Kong, Donkey Kong Junior, Bowser, Boo, Toad, Shy Guy, and Paratroopa. The purpose of Mario Tennis is like any other tennis game, hit the ball over to your opponent's side of the tennis court and earn points when your opponent misses the ball. You can only earn up to either 15, 30, or 45 points. You can only play up to one, two, three, or four players when playing Mario Tennis. In Mario Tennis, you can play in either singles or doubles. Singles is when you are playing between two players and doubles is where you get to play with two players on each team.







Mario Golf was released for the Nintendo 64 in the year of 1999. Mario Golf is basically like real life golf, the only difference is that its setting is in the Mushroom Kingdom. You can play as either Mario, Baby Mario, Luigi, Donkey Kong, Peach, Wario, Yoshi, and Bowser. There are only four gameplay modes in Mario Golf and they are known as Mini Golf, Speed Golf, Ring Shot, and Skins Match. Many things will happen when you hit the ball: the wind can change the direction of where the ball was originally going, the way the characters hit the ball, the way the ball lands on the golf course, and the rain can slow down the speed of the flying ball.







Paper Mario was released one year after Mario Tennis which would be 2001. Paper Mario is also the first game to be made in the Paper Mario series. The game starts out when Mario and Luigi were invited to Princess Peach's party at her castle. Mario later decides to visit Princess Peach in her room to have a nice conversation. Everything was going well until Bowser breaks through the window of Princess Peach's room and kidnaps her...AGAIN!!!! Mario's goal is to rescue Princess Peach and the seven star spirits that were captured by Bowser. Mario must also retrieve the star wand that Bowser has stolen from the star spirits. Mario will later find some new partners to be by his side in order to defeat Bowser and save Princess Peach and the seven star spirits.







Dr. Mario 64 was released in the year of 2001 and it is also the remake of the original Dr. Mario which was released for the NES back in 1990. Dr. Mario 64 is basically the same as the original Dr. Mario but it has some differences. Other than the Classic Mode there are four new game modes in Dr. Mario 64 and they are known as the Story Mode, Marathon Mode, Score Attack Mode, and Flash Mode. The Story Mode is where you get to choose either Dr. Mario or Wario as a playable character and the purpose of Story Mode is to find the missing mega vitamins that were stolen and the only way to do that is to defeat all of the enemies that get in your way. Marathon Mode is where you get to kill as many viruses as you can until you lose. Score Attack Mode is the mode where you kill viruses in order to get a high score in only three minutes. Last but not least, Flash Mode is where you only kill the viruses that are flashing.
