This is about SNL's skit
This SNL Skit may be one of the best skits on SNL alongside with Coneheads and Wayne's World.
In 1996, Norm MacDonald wanted to do an impersonation of Burt Reynolds. But the first sketch featured Sean Connery, Burt Reynolds, and Jerry Lewis.
The 2nd and 3rd Sketches of "Celebrity Jeopardy" had Norm MacDonald as Burt Reynolds and Darrel Hammond as Phil Donahue and John Travolta, respectfully. (Hammond also played Sean Connery.)
After the 3rd sketch, Darrel Hammond would come back as Sean Connery and would play Sean Connery throughout the remaining sketches.
Many running gags have contained words such as 'Therapists' as being called 'The Rapists' and Sean Connery getting the Final Jeopardy question right, only to have the wager be crude such as "0+0-0=0" becomes "P+O-O=P".
Even some celebrities pop-in to play faux celebrities such as Martin Short as Jerry Lewis or David Duchovny as Jeff Goldblum or Ben Stiller as Tom Cruise.
Will Ferrel was always Alex Trebek and on the 12th sketch, the real Alex Trebek comes in.
This sketch is always a laugh-riot for me!
