in 1992 rhcp guitarist john frusciante left the band due to being unconfotable with the bands success.they had a string of replacements arik mashall and jesse tobias.they landed with janes addiction guitarist dave navvaro in '94 at woodstock.(they played their fist song in lightbulb costumes). in 1995 they released one hot minute.
the album was darker than the previous 5 albums and wasn't well recived.personally,its is my least favoraite rhcp album,but it is very underrated. 
the fist single was warped. it was a wierd and metalish song.the song was okay,but the video was creepy.at the end dave and anthony kiss.not a good site.the song vasn't very popular and i don't think it was a hit. 
my freinds was the second single.it was more popular than warped going to number 1 on the modern rock charts.the video had them in dresses on a boat.anthony didn't like the video so they made a diffrent video.pesonally the fist video is better. 
the third single was aeroplane and in my opinion was the albums best song and their best song all together.it has a great bass solo and the kids singing was adorable.the video looked very expensive.thesong reached to number 8 on the modern rock charts and the only song on the album is still hear on the radio. 
coffe shop was the fourth single on the album.i found it funny that one of the lines was "we can dance like iggy pop" and back then he looked like iggy pop.the video was them playing live.the song was not a hit. 
the final single was shallow be thy game.no video was made.the song was good but not great.
