when a horibble thing happens, they always blame media.and im tired of it
heres a good example: Early episodes of beavis and butthead gave them a juvenile obsession with fire and dangerous behavior (summed up with Beavis' chant of "Fire! Fire!"). The show was blamed for a child's death which occurred in West Carrollton, Ohio in October 1993 in which a five year old boy set fire to his mother's mobile home killing his two year old sister.[citation needed]The child's family blamed the show (despite clearly not having a cable TV subscription) which sparked the ire of media watchdog groups. As a result, the references were excised from further broadcastings, being replaced by silly stunts, bad pick-up lines, etc. The creators took delight in sometimes making Beavis scream things that sounded very similar to his previous "Fire! Fire!", such as "Fryer! Fryer!" (when he and Butt-head are working late shift at Burger World). References to fire were cut from earlier episodes - even the original tapes were altered permanently. Other episodes MTV opted not to rerun (Examples include "Stewart's House" and "Way Down Mexico Way"). Early episodes with the controversial content intact are rare, and are traded on homemade tapes made from the original broadcasts. In an interview included with the recent Mike Judge Collection DVD set, Judge says he is unsure if some of the earlier episodes still exist in their uncensored form.

heres another one: two young 10 year old boys kidnapped a 3 year old child named Jamie Buldger from outside a shopping center and lured him 50 miles away to a special place like they thought they were Peter Pan taking him to neverland then by some railroad tracks they beat him up brutally and mutilated his face with a piece of broken railtrack, placed blue paint on his face, and shoved butteries up his mouth then when he died they put his body on the railroad tracks as they cover him with small rocks to make it look like an accident. Then a few days later after police investigated on his disappearence then the next day they arrested the two young boys, the British media thought they were imitating the climax to "Child's Play 3" thus the film got the blame from the idiotic Media in the UK that loves to blame crap for horrific crap.
heres another one:Following the Columbine High School massacre, there were accusations that killers Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold were influenced by Marilyn Manson's music. When later evidence was presented that neither Harris nor Klebold were fans of the band, many were led to criticize the media for using the band as a scapegoat instead of analyzing the underlying societal problems surrounding the incident. In the controversial documentary Bowling for Columbine, Michael Moore interviewed Manson about the tragedy. When asked what he would say to the two if he had a chance to talk to them before the killings, Manson replied "I wouldn't say a single word to them; I would listen to what they have to say, and that's what no one did". Eminem referenced the controversy in his song 'The Way I Am', which contains the line, "When a dude's gettin' bullied and shoots up his school/And they blame it on Marilyn, and the heroin/Where were the parents at?". Marilyn Manson made a cameo in the video for the song, and even contributed vocals to a guitar-heavy remix.

The controversy connecting Marilyn Manson and American school shootings continued on October 10th, 2007 when 14-year-old Asa Coon opened gunfire on his high school in Cleveland, Ohio. SuccessTech Academy went to lock-down status around 1:15pm, when Coon shot four people; including two students, and two teachers, before turning the gun on himself. Police reports, and student interviews claim that Coon was wearing a Marilyn Manson t-shirt during the rampage. On several occasions, Coon told students and teachers that he did not believe in, nor respect God; instead worshipped vocalist Marilyn Manson. Coon was known for violent behavior, and stood out among a predominately black student body for his appearance -- which included black boots, a black trench coat, black nail polish, and rock t-shirts.

i hope you get my point now.its not the medias fault, its the fact that the people who did these horrible and tragic incidents are just insane
